Torn E. b.WWII TRF-Autodyne Portable Receiver97 - 7095 KHz in 8 Bands |

Not happy with the color rendition in these pix. I believe it may be Africa Corps tan. |
1944 production. It's heavy as Hell, 42 pounds. Power connector has been replaced. I have the wreckage of the original. Had not played since a demonstration at a New jersey Antique Radio Club Meeting many years ago. Playing niow, but tube sockets seen intermittent. Tuned to WABC in this pic. |
I only replaced obviously bad capacitors in the original restoration. Extra leftover bits are included. |
Left end, the audio section.. Both the power and audio filter toggle switchs have been replace with modern switches.. |
Right End - R.F. |
Bottom If memory serves, I reoaired a couple of the white insulating rods with JB Weld. The Krauts were way ahead of us in plastics, note the wire insulation. There is no obvious distortion of the pot metal. |
WWII German eadset included. |
My 2 and 90-volt power supply. So it's plug up and fiddle with the tube sockets.. |
